The Association was formed in 1977 to help the school and the parents and carers by promoting a sense of partnership and co-operation between parents and carers and teachers for the benefit of the children who attend the school.
Membership of the Association is automatic for all teachers, parents and carers and guardians of pupils without application.The Association aims:
- to help keep parents and carers informed on the school, the curriculum and on the school activities, through organised meetings, social events and regular news-sheets;
- to provide assistance at school events and outings
- to help in providing facilities not normally provided by the Education Authority.
Management of the Association is by a Committee.
